The three-piece hierarchy
Leaf: place on an empty cell touching any piece, including diagonally. The first leaf may go anywhere.
House: replace an opposing leaf anywhere. Koala: replace an opposing leaf or house anywhere. The evicted piece returns to its owner’s reserve. Koalas cannot be replaced and never count toward a line.
Win with four of your leaves/houses in one horizontal, vertical or diagonal line—or by spending your final reserve piece. Everyone starts with 8 leaves, 4 houses and 1 koala. No legal moves ends the game as a draw. Colored rims and M/A labels identify ownership. Select a piece, select a highlighted cell, then confirm.
